Details: Singer Duet is part of an ongoing research into the acoustic properties of electric sewing machines. Both the resonance of the housings and the mechanical movements of the needle are amplified, creating a composition that transforms over time. The motors of both sewing machines are tuned separately, creating a poetic interplay in different rhythms.
