In a world that wants to be clear and efficient, I choose slowness, confusion, and the poetry of the useless.
I work from a curiosity about how the world appears to us. Through the senses, but also through the techniques we use to grasp our perception. I draw my inspiration from processes in matter: from natural phenomena and the unfolding of media.
Using media, recording equipment, and everyday objects outside their fixed function, I investigate how our perception can shift, revealing connections that might otherwise go unnoticed. Rhythm, noise, and structure play an important role, inviting the viewer to engage in a different way of listening.
My work consists mainly of installations in which sound, time, and light subtly shape and extend our perception.
In this way, I try to create space for a world that does not need to be explained, but experienced.
